2020 World Champs, Date and Venue (Changed Date!)

The 2020 Static Monsters World Championships will be held in “Fortress Obetz”, a 15 minute drive from the centre of Columbus Ohio. A multi-purpose sports facility completed in 2017 will play home to The Static Monsters from around the planet. A quick overview video of the facility can be seen here:


The World Championships will be held inside “The Fortress.” Seating will be brought in, multiple platforms and amazing Strongman equipment (more information on that to come). The event will also be an entertaining day with Food Trucks coming in, childrens games and a full live stream of the competition available!

The date of the Static Monsters World Championships for 2020 will be the 25th July 2020.

…and to qualify? Find an event near you from The Worldwide event map. All qualification events are held on the weekend of October 26 and 27. This is just a qualification however. The Worldwide event is how the event was started and it is the largest world ranking in the sport! Each competitor will recieve a world ranking for their Log Lift, Axle Deadlift and their Monster Total!

The top ten from each weight class will recieve an invite to compete at the World Championships with the top three from the 2019 World Championships already qualified. Find out what it took to qualify for the 2019 event and last years rankings:
